Stay Focused

Sometimes we go through life in trial and error,
success in our Lord God is sweeter than honey.
Failure fills us with the enemies terror,
keep your eyes on Him and everyday is great even if it's not sunny.
Don't lose your faith cuz it can be hard to get it back,
be pure in heart, body, and soul and there you will be.
You won't be searchin, lookin for the right track,
in the end it will be Christ and you free.
Stay focused, repent when you heart says to,
Jesus is always there to comfort and protect you.
Block out the evil tricks that can play with your mind,
look through the word, study it and we'll find.
The mercy and love that He has for us,
without our focus on Him we're nothing but dust.
The gifts we are blessed to have are great indeed,
we use those "powers" to help plant in others a seed.
That grows into something amazing for the kingdom,
just the thought of that, makes my heartbeat like a war drum.
Excitement running through my veins like a strong stream,
helping bring the kingdom to earth won't be just a dream.
