Darkness surrounded by the holy light,
evil lurking within, waiting to come out.
Struggling in the mind, searching for what's right,
sometimes we need a harsh night of spiritual shout.
Hardship and pain entangles the beautiful heart,
friends are what tie us strongly to His power.
Setting aside time for Him with a scheduled chart,
letting the glory rain in our souls like a shower.
The word should engulf you fully leaving you wanting more,
use it in life to help glorify the Lord.
Know temptation will be there, but don't let it start war,
in you sings a righteous melody on a wonderful chord.
You are loved no matter what cuz He is on our side,
the enemy may attack but that's due to something great in you.
Let in the light and it will be an amazing adeventure ride,
His love for you and me reigns supreme it's true.
Please just let His awesomeness in and rule,
there is nothing more I want than to see you in heaven.
Life may sometimes be a little bit cruel,
but it will be you and me bro, up there twenty-four seven.
