Gladness Flows

Stop feeling depressed or unhappy with life,
for the river of God has powered through you like butter cut with a knife.
His love has been flowing over you to save you from the dark,
deep inside is something, Jesus has left His mark.
It's being called out, stop fighting the purest light,
when it comes down to it, you won't win that fight.
God will overcome you at some point without a doubt,
that day shall come, out of your mouth His words spout.
So I say drink as much as you can, then drink more,
if not, pain will be about you, always feeling sore.
Gladness comes only from our Almighty Lord,
with Him in us we have strength and His sword.
Time has arrived to drop everything and listen,
He wants us to love Him, without Him we are in the lions den.
His presence brings comfort and warmth to my heart,
since our relationship started He has not given up on His part.
Stop messing around, through God we are truly found.
