"Never Dried Out"

Life only gives choices,
Decision is where we live.
Taking on or giving up,
Freedom fights slavery.
Forfeit in order to gain,
Receiving that which was lost.
Actions from the heart,
Only from there I offer up,
What I am, where I am headed.
Relinquishing control,
Resigning from my earthly body,
Faithfully I walk in a spiritual covenant.
Selling all I own for an eternal journey,
Where I must lay my life down,
To save those I do not know.
Transform me into a servant,
In that I release personal glory.
Living as Christ did,
I willing kill myself daily for Him to reign,
Shining bright through me drawings souls in.
Welcoming Jesus's legacy to fully eclipse my entire existence,
Becoming more like Him, I quit my selfishness,
Renouncing all thoughts that only benefit my needs an desires.
Accepting Him name and covering,
Never forgetting those that spoke over me His word,
As years pass by, wisdom is shared by generations.
Thankful am I, for the sacrifices to reach out,
Embracing the call, spreading joy and love through the ages.
The meaning hasn't changed,
Yet the tactic has become more creative.
God, for all you've given,
The strength in weakness always makes me smile.
